What is Care is There?

Care is There is a geriatric care management and care coordination company. Our mission is to help families create a life that works for everyone -- care givers and care receivers.

Each Care is There client is given their own Lifestyle Coordinator, who works with all the resources in the community to serve that client. Your Lifestyle Coordinator might find home health aides, attend doctors appointments, provide or arrange transportation, ensure that bills are paid and insurance is handled. We've done everything from having curtain rods hung to arranging funeral receptions. We are your family's one-stop-shop.

Elizabeth Swider, our founder and president, is a Certified Senior Advisor*, the chairwoman of the Charlottesville Regional Chamber of Commerce Aging in Place Business Round Table, a member of the Livable for a Lifetime Steering Committee, a board member of the Leadership Charlottesville Alumni Association and the team leader of the Leadership Charlottesville session that addresses issues of aging in community. She is also the founder of Cville Seniors.

* A Certified Senior Advisor is a professional who has demonstrated broad-based knowledge about aging and the important issues that affect seniors. The CSA designation is awarded by the Society of Certified Senior Advisers to individuals who meet designation requirements and pass the CSA examination. CSA's have supplemented their individual professional licenses, credentials, and education with knowledge about aging and working with seniors. The CSA designation alone does not guarantee expertise in financial, health or social matters. For details, visit www.CSA.us.

Elizabeth,

Rather Ms. tech and Ms. organization appreciate all you do for others and particularly seniors. The boomers are here and everyone loves Cville so we've got the locals, as well as many seniors from around the country joining us all looking for what Cville has to offer seniors. We are truly #1, and highly rated amongst retiring seniors as well. Thanks to you, we'll keep even getting better.

Great job Elizabeth

Elizabeth-
Have we considered that this Friday is Good Friday and that some people may not be there at the meetings?
