Collaborating for vitality and choice in the second half of life
I established my law firm in 2006, with an office in Charlottesville and a home office in Madison County/Orange, Virginia, having 18 years of experience as a lawyer in civil litigation (family law, landlord tenant and consumer law), estate planning, and education and business law. I became involved in the Aging in Place Business Roundtable of the Charlottesville Area Chamber of Commerce right away, and became Vice Chair in 2008, an office I continue to serve in. My interest in and compassion for my clients' predicaments, and the joy I experience when I have helped them prepare for and navigate life's unpredictablities in a way that marries their passions and circumstances, are the lifeblood of my law practice. My highest goal is to advocate fully for my clients, but to communicate with family members and others involved in my clients' legal struggles with the goal of preserving and unifying the relationships if at all possible.
