Collaborating for vitality and choice in the second half of life
We founded Legacy Hospice in response to personal healthcare experiences we had with our own families. We know you are looking for trusted healthcare professionals to care for someone that is important to you. No request is too small, and no health need is too large for our specialized staff to address.
What does Legacy do?
Legacy provides a special way of caring for people with a life limiting illness and for their loved ones. Our goal is to maximize quality of life, so you can enjoy time with those who mean the most to you. We are experts at managing pain & symptoms of life limiting illnesses. We will make certain our patients are comfortable and are treated like we would treat our own family.
We provide care to all age groups during the final stages of life, including children, adults, and the elderly. You will have an experienced team of physicians, registered nurses, certified nurse aides, medical social workers, counselors, and trained volunteers available to help you and your family manage your illness.
Your physician and Legacy will work with you to set up a comprehensive plan of care to manage your symptoms and assess the needs of your family. Your family or another caregiver will be with you, and members of our team will make regular visits to ensure your comfort. A nurse and a physician are on-call 24 hours a day, seven days a week to give you and your family support and care when you need it.
Even though a physician is a part of the Legacy team, you can choose to use your regular physician to direct your care. Legacy will work closely with your regular physician to give you the care that you need.
