Elder Care Matters -Bulletin- 3 Hour VA Accreditation Course via Online Video

This is a 3 hour educational program featuring Victoria L. Collier, Esq., one of America's leading VA experts, who will provide participants via Online Video with an update regarding Veterans Benefits. In addition, Ms. Collier will provide participants with case studies drawn from her practice that will showcase specific issues concerning VA Eligibility and the VA Application process - issues about which ALL elder care professionals should be aware.

This online course has been approved by the Georgia State Bar and will meet all the requirements by the VA to maintain accreditation status (3 hrs of VA credit). If you are not yet accredited by the VA, you MUST complete the VA Form 21a, Application for Accreditation, and send it to the VA Office of General Counsel and receive approval by them PRIOR to attending the CLE. It takes the VA approximately 30-45 days to approve applications for attorneys. Non-lawyers will have to take a test, which makes the process much longer. If you do not need or want accreditation, this course will still benefit you by providing exposure to the issues your elderly clients have and present solutions on how those issues can be resolved.

Please note that we have not specifically sought CLE credits for states other than Georgia, so you will need to send to your State Bar the outline or materials for this program along with the speaker's bio and ask for approval for your state CLE credit.
