Elder Law Dream Team Audio and Handouts - Summary of Aging In Place Business Round Table January 2012 Meeting

We are pleased to announce that the January AIPBRT meeting was the largest attendance to date. Almost 70 people interested in our senior community attended.

Educational Segment

AIPBRT Elder Law Dream Team member lawyers: Holly Hilton, Doris Gelbman, Simon Stapleton and James Cox led a panel discussion about various elements of Elder Law.  Thanks to AIPBRT vice-chairwoman Holly Hilton for arranging the panel!

Member Spotlight

Dana Frye of Life Enrichment Group spoke to AIPBRT members about how her company enables seniors to remain in their own home. Dana works with seniors from the age of 62 to 102. Her clients have a range of diagnoses and Dana's staff makes staying in their own home possible.

Other Business

Inclement weather policy for the AIPBRT meetings: If the Albemarle County Schools will be opening two hours late or cancelling school for the day, the AIPBRT is cancelled. If not, we will go forward with the meeting. The school weather schedule can be determined by calling: 434-296-5886.

• Parking: Please note that we are requested to park next door at the Church of the Incarnation and use a new route that will lead you right up to the DePiro Room door. We hope this will make parking at the church more desirable therefore leaving plenty of spaces for the residents and their guests that are visiting Our Lady of Peace.
